| We were ecstatic to finally get a girl from our best producing dam that had given us 3 boys in a row. We thought that if this girl turns out anything like her full older brother, we are already beyond thankful. Super strong and sturdy at birth. Shiny silky fleece. We kept her in full fleece to show and covid happened. She showed at Nationals in Nebraska and received a 6th place in the Full Fleece Suri Light Female Yearling Never Shorn. Our last breed of our summer was to this guy's dam, so we were counting down to the last birth of the season. We were ecstatic from the second "he" touched the ground. We know time will tell but we are already quite enamored by his very bright white and sturdy conformation.
AWH Kalino owned by Alpacas at Windy hill sits in the top 1% in the EPD program for AFD, SDAFD, SF, and %F>30. Amazing!! He was a very high scorer with superb comments from fleece judge. We think he possibly brought his best to the table in this guy.
We hope we are not speaking to soon but he is our show hopeful of the season.
