A full Peruvian modern grey harlequin. "Wait for It" was named at the prior ranch by a visiting client the day she was born. When we acquired her we had quite the "Who's on First - what's on second" scenario play out that will always give us a laugh.

She is an adorable girl of ever-evolving color. A combination of a modern silver grey by her dam USA Peruvian and Majestic along with her sire, a bay black gorgeous guy by Armed and Dangerous, a MacGyver son. Besides cute to look at, she is one with personality - mild mannered but she gets giddy and leaps and twists over pellet time and any other activity nearby.

Before Wait For It's first shearing we were told she looked almost all fawn, but once you got to the skin she was grey, nearly identical to her dam with good luster. She has harlequin markings on her face and a nice long staple length, her fleece re-locked nicely and on the next shearing she is darker yet. The combination of some dark fawn, brown & silver grey that looks more dark taupe if that were a color listed in color charts. We were so pleased with the fleece her yarn made - besides color it is really soft and surpassed what you might think her histogram would produce.

We think she could breed to almost any color while tempting to go for silver grey. Her two sires have been black. Her first service sire, Psylent Knight while true black, also had MacGyver lineage who was that beautiful dark brown in color. Her first cria looked a brown/black color with nice luster, but she also had dark grey in her head & legs that we saw throughout her fleece at shearing. She did end up showing in grey and took a 1st in a competitive class at Gold Country Gathering - a 1st at AOA Nationals and a 1st at California Classic!

We plan to keep her multiple award winning girl so hesitantly offering, Wait for It is for sale. We really don't have anyone that looks like her. She certainly gets her fair share of notoriety for that, she has been captured in featured in articles, newspapers and promo's. Who can resist that cute freckled face?

We bred her to the gorgeous true black guy Sirroco's Coal Combustion. He had just hit the 2 years of age and she is his first confirmed pregnancy. His slick black fleece has outstanding luster and fineness with a nice handle. His lineage has a dash of grey color. We are hopeful this girl delivers what we think could be another stunner.
