As an entertaining story I'll start with when we bought Worth the wait's mom who was named "Wait for It". The transaction read like a who's on first - what's on second. She was bred to Psylent Knight a beautiful bay black guy that two other females sired by him had taken color Championshps at Futurity. I grew excited looking over pedigrees, this is a slight linebreed on MacGyver (great and gr grandsires) We did not know her due date, our vet happened to check "Wait for it" since all his other crias had been born already and said she thought she had another week or two. Within an hour later, she gave birth. We think she was definitely Worth the Wait - Worthy was born without assistance & wriggled and coated herself in the only dirt area of the pasture. So dirty she actually needed a bath. Even then, her color was still a little hard to assess (dirt brown LOL) or bay black with fawn highlights & hints of grey in her ears. While Worthy looks similar to her mom in coloring, other than missing freckles, we were told that her mom had looked mostly fawn at first shearing. We loved watching her color evolve. More grey poked through and after shearing a modern rose grey is best we can describe in addition to soft and fine. She did show in the grey class.

Worthy attended Gold Country Gathering fall 2016 and received a 1st place with awesome comments from the judge on her fineness, luster, slick feeling of her fleece. Not enough showing in the grey class for a championship but we were very excited especially against her competition. The 2nd place winner mentioned showing in futurity and receiving a 1st at GWAS and I know the other in the ring was a prior ribbon winner. She got nice comments from Judge Wini Labrecque in walking fleece, stating her 2nd place was extremely close to the first. Then went on to get a first at Nationals 2017 and another 1st place again at California Classic.

Worthy delivered a nice, beautiful silver-grey guy (with a half brown neck collar) by SoCal Greystone's Marquis. Happy with this paring --definitely one of our stand-outs for 2019. She is a wonderful mother - we even caught her letting his half-brother nurse from her.

Prior season we bred her to the nicest offspring Marquis produced. Sterling by Nascha has beautiful conformation, luster and density and received 1st place ribbon with nice comments from the judge. Worthy effortlessly delivered an extremely vibrant girl similar looking to herself so we are wondering if she may be rose grey. Extremely pleased with this girl a go-getter with over the top personality from day one.

Worthy recently bred to RGSA's Sicario, a beautiful extremely dense, fawn guy from black so are anxious to see what these two may produce.
