| We had no idea what color to expect with this pairing but did expect something nice from our fabulous fleeced 4-sight's Crawford and Milk Chocolate Truffle. Truffle, his dam is a sturdy girl with lovely dense fleece and delivered this 19 pound guy for her first baby. Ganache is a large, dreamy, dark copper-bronze color with a little grey hue, adorable markings and long eye lashes to boot! We had taken a long shot breeding a beige dam with no grey lineage to a grey guy. Destiny's Dream made her triumphant debut and all I can think of, is the saying the best dreams are the ones with your eyes wide open.
She is cuter in person than in pictures and of course amazing to touch. Both parents have histograms still in low 20s with good uniformity in their adult breeding years. Her histogram came in at 19.7 with a 5.5 SD with a nice comfort factor.

This girl's dam, Destiny is such a special girl to us (sentimental reasons and she is just darn cute). We had rolled the dice for grey for the very first time with her beige mom gave birth to grey Destiny. We chose a lovely Crawford son, Copper Ganache, for the sire. His owners showed him some & he has one of the highest fleece scores we've seen. With comments from judge Wini Labrec that she had to go down to his legs to find guard hair. Judge Cheryl Gehly also liked his fleece and pointed out his amazing uniformity which we feel is exceptional in his rose grey coloring. He actually has quite a few grey spots when sheared.
When we paired Destiny with "Copper Ganache", we were hoping to add density, uniformity and fiber length. We weren't sure on color. She looks to be medium fawn were thinking possibly rose grey from her sire, but looks to be fawn like her grand dam. We honestly expected cute but with her endearing personality she just slays it. She just seems to trot up and say, Hi I'm just Dandy how about you? Our Destiny's dream has manifested herself into Dandelions & Dreams and we hope we can watch her grow up and bring joy to those she encounters for years to come. Meanwhile her photo album should be quite large but I find myself taking mostly video of her cuteness.
