Potter's ClayPartial Interest

ARI# 32535211   D.O.B. 9/1/2013

Suri, Male, Unproven | Medium Fawn

Sire:
Dam: AWH Swiss Coffee  | ARI# 31831208  | White

Potter's Clay - had our hearts from the day he hit the ground. We were newbies and on the fence regarding showing this guy. He was visibly smaller in stature due to some early issues/poor vet advice that also should have made his fleece tender. Yet, he seemed to rebound and was looking nice enough that we decided to enter a show. He received rave remarks at check-in from some industry experts. Then, in the ring he took a first place with comments from the judge that they were sorry there weren't enough for a championship as they very much appreciated his luster, density... As part of group of Get of Sire, they took a 1st place and the judge singled him out as reason for placing them above others. At the California Classic, Again as part of group for "Get of Sire" Vortex, his sire, won his second consecutive 1st place! He also took a Reserve Championship as the only previously shorn in the ring!

His dam by Apache, let both color and traits of sire pass as evidenced by her first crias. His sire, MacGyver's Vortex, is result of a linebreed on MacGyver who is #1 in the nation consecutive years now in EPDS for AFD.

His fleece is really beautiful rickrack looking and is so slick hardly any vegetable matter sticks! His histogram, 2nd shearing was 15.9 AFD & 3.9 SD! top 1% EPD for AFD & SF - Following histogram micron was up just a bit at almost 3-years-old 18.4 AFD 4.4 SD ! Again, he is Mr. F.I.N.E. especially remarkable in a suri and of his rich color as he is finer than a majority of the lighter whites.

In shows he took a 1st at California Classic, a 2nd at GWAS and then a 1st at CABA, with comments from the judge, beautiful luster and great density of lock. We entered his fleece in our first spin off and he missed 1st place by one point due to my lack of knowledge in preparation. We had him evaluated through the Suri Herd Improvement Program and at age 4, he received top scores in nearly every category on fleece, 4.5 of 5 in lock structure, 5 of 5 in Uniformity of color and micron, a 4 of 5 in luster (definitely dusty we know his shine) On his maximum 5/5 score for handle, besides the evaluator saying they could stay all day with their hands in his fleece, they wrote a note of "holy handle!"

His cria has his amazing fineness and uniformity besides, I love his head! Since we are not using Potter for breeding we have hesitantly decided to offer him for sale, to the right purchaser. Besides being cute as can be, he is crazy for carrots. If you are looking for amazing fleece, he could be your guy!
Top EPDs AFD & SF & SDAFD!

This guy was the first cria expected by our amazingly fine-fleeced, Reserve Champion, Potter's Clay. To top that, he ended up being born on my mom's ...
