Sage was not registered by her prior owner. Unfortunately her prior owner had been given incorrect information about who her dam was and it became quite a hunt when we tried to register her. We finally found the DNA match, only to find out that the registered owner on the dam had passed away and given the registered owner of her sire retired and had inactivated their account, it became quite complicated so we decided not to press the issue. She also wasn't bred by her previous owner due to them retiring, keeping their herd size down.
Sage is a solid female with a nice frame that looks loaded with fiber. She just gave birth to a beautiful true black girl by our fabulous fleeced grey guy 4-Sight's Crawford. Possibly because of her age of having her first baby, she had a very narrow birthing canal and needed assistance getting the baby out so, we think it may be best not to breed her again. Thankfully, she birthed one of those babies that was up and using those legs just minutes after birth and nursing well, with no intervention. Sage does seem to adore being a mother so we are happy she was able to experience motherhood.
