GLR Armani came from the Great Lakes Ranch breeding program. Armani originally was registered as fawn color, but soon after his unique coloring appeared that still makes hearts pitter patter. GLR Armani is an absolutely stunning male. He has a regal presence, high luster, nice bone, an amazing freckled face and a gentle confidence.

There aren't too many full Peruvian grays in the world, and Armani is ROSE gray--a shade of taupe that swirls and stripes his body like a water color painting. He puts a whole new spin on "unusual". Armani's prior owner wasn't using him for their "light" breeding program and we couldn't bear to think of him being sold to a distant ranch so, we decided to purchase him. He has had a couple inquiries since on his purchase. While we are starting to get steeped with his genetics and he has multiple confirmed pregnancies for next year, we would prefer for someone not across country if possible. Let us know if you are interested in partial ownership.

Armani is taking breeding reservations, both through Windy Hill and Faith and Fleece Alpacas. He is also a pleasure handle - you can nearly always walk up in the pasture and halter him. Yet, while he leads nicely for his human handlers, he knows his business in the breeding pen and nearly every girl seems to be impregnated on a first breed.Armani lined up several fawn girls on his dance card so next year we will see what he does for them.

He has numerous awards that aren't fully listed here. Better yet, he has numerous award-winning offspring. One of his daughters, the lovely Luna Vuitton, is part of our foundation. She has one of the best histograms in our herd 20 micron and 4.62 SD -really commendable especially in rose and silver grey color. While we thought his speciality was producing colors like himself, he has also done remarkably well in brown and medium silver grey. He has several offspring that just wow everyone that see them! These beauties are still carrying on his name in the show ring. One of his offspring took a brown color championship. Another took 1st place at two shows and had comments from a renown fleece judge in walking fleece of super fine micron of 12-14 AFD with noted luster throughout the tri-fold of colors. Both Alfaro Family Farm's Coco Chanel and Victory Dance are beautiful award-winning greys from 2017. He dazzled us once again this season with a near replica of himself. See Armani's Abouding Joy. Again real proof is in the progeny.

Get your girls on his list. You are going to want a breeding to this guy!
