Tabokia's White Gold Gardenia

What do you get when you do a repeat breed of a black dam to a medium silver guy when they had a medium silver cria together the year prior? You get a surprising reminder that grey is unpredictable as the least likely suspected color pops out! As I watched the delivery, I thought wow an all white head, white feet, likely be a tux but as she came out solid white from head to toe - well almost, she has grey skin at feet, dark eyes and eyelids with liner. While not positive she will stay all white, she sure seems to be. She would be a real stealth grey.

We thought about naming her sterling or grey gardenia just in case. One of my mom's favorite flowers were gardenias and she was allergic to silver so had jewelry made of white gold, hence White Gold Gardenia. My business brain says white and black fleece blend to grey and considering her genetic potential, we should have fun come production time.

Her grey sire is a 3/4 brother to Royal Steel and his biopsy revealed him to be one of the most uniform Ian Watt has tested in any color! She has delivered very bright, true black (Blackest of black colors) two times in a row with different colored males one grey and one dark fawn. Last years cria with rather wild white face markings from the beautiful grey 4-Sight's Crawford is a real head turner! We are very hesitant to offer her for sale given her genetics are beyond Montana. She comes with a breeding to one of our herdsire's of your choice.
