Last year we did a linebreed on this Rockstar Daughter. We bred Pat Benetar, a Torbio granddaughter to a Torbio son. That cria turned out so nice we almost did a repeat breed but thought we would aim to take it up a notch on the fineness and uniformity with AWH Torbio's Silk Tie. Not only is AWH Torbio's Silk Tie one of the very top in the nation in AFD EPD - he is also at the top in the standard deviation of AFD (SDAFD). That means they project he will not only bring fineness but consistency, which is an important issue to consider for success in the fleece industry. His outstanding record in these two characteristics are reflected in his own histogram. His AFD is 16 microns and his SDAFD is 3.28 microns. While Pat Benetar ranks top in the EPDs for fleece length.If what we are seeing now is evidence of what this guy will become, pick him up and show him! See if this guy will bring all these attributes to your own herd. The pairing of these genetics should give a fantastic jump to any cria born to him. The luster is astounding!
