Boomer was the first of a string of beautiful male crias born to us this season. This young guy has nice shiny, black fleece. He started out as a rambunctious boy and first we thought his nickname should be boom boom instead of boomer - if you catch our drift. He already thinks he is a stud in the making. He does need some more work on a halter, but we think with consistent one-on-one handling, he will handle like a dream. His mom, OB Queenie as we refer to her as, is a sweet girl. One of those alpacas you can actually run your fingers through. His father, Mr. Majestic is quite the looker and ranks rather high in the national EPDs. Boomer is now ready to wean, take him home while he is young so you can have that awesome fleece to make something spectacular out of and in the meantime watch him grow into a majestic masterpiece of his own. If you love the more rare color of black in an alpaca, he is certainly worth looking at.
